The Bulls are going to face the Cleveland Cavaliers next at United Center Chicago. They are riding high in the confidence of having won the third straight game against the San Antonio Spurs. Their encounter against the Cavaliers will be 231ist in the NBA regular. However, the fans have been anticipating Zach’s return.

Will Zach Lavine play against the Cavaliers?

In the 18 games, Lavine averages 21 points for the Cavaliers. After suffering foot soreness, he was reported to be out of action for three to four weeks. He is on the path of recovery shooting and jogging. However, he has not been taking part in cutting and lateral movement,

After the foot injury, he got a plasma-rich injection on the right foot on December 7. The coach recently shared how he has been longing for a comeback and positive influence in the dressing room.

Billy Donovan said as reported by the Chicago Tribune, “I think he missed the game. He’s been a good voice in the locker room and on the bench trying to help and support those guys. Whenever he comes back and there’s a period where a player is out, everybody kind of readjusts to playing together again. That’s just normal.” Lavine won’t be available for the game, but injury weighs heavy on the prospects of both teams.

Injury scenario for the two teams

The Bulls have some injury issues lingering for some time. Onuralp Bitim due to a nose injury won’t be participating. Henri Drell is out due to a thumb injury. So is Tony Craig, who was out of action for four weeks due to a heel injury. Coby White, Alex Caruso, DeMar DeRozan, Patrick Williams, and Nikola Vucevic will be in the starting lineup. With Lavine not in the team, all eyes are on Coby White who has been wonderful in the seven wins in ten games of Bulls.

On the other hand, the Cleveland Cavaliers are without their three main starters. Donovan Mitchell, Darius Garland, and Evan Mobley are not available. Craig Porter Jr., Max Strus, Isaac Okoro, Dean Wade, and Jarrett Allen will be the five pillars of the hope of fans of the Cavaliers.
