Every hoop fan knows about the long-standing beef between LeBron James and Skip Bayless. Although it mostly consists of Bayless taking shots at King James every chance he gets, sometimes LeBron likes a response as well. In fact, during just the last season, we saw their spat take a turn for the worse.

However, that hasn’t stopped either party from having another go at it, year after year. Heading into the new season, Bayless seems to have a green light to be as unreasonable in his assumptions as he wants. He recently showed an example of the same while thrashing King James and the LA Lakers.

LeBron James and Skip Bayless: a never-ending problem?

While there have been several high-profile beefs over the years, none gets dragged as much as this one. One of the major reasons behind this is the fact that neither party has ever thought of backing down. Bayless often comes across in the beef as someone attacking a weak spot and pulling it apart till there’s nothing left. This often puts him on the wrong side of the world as well and he is heavily thrashed because of it. However, it just doesn’t seem to have an effect on him.

On the other hand, King James is not someone who looks for problems but with Bayless, he seems to like having a bone to pick. Despite being labeled ‘all-time pathetic’, ‘disgrace’, and ‘think skinned diva’, the 4x NBA champion has actually vouched for Bayless in the past. If one looks at the tweet he made 12 years ago, it’s unimaginable that their story would be where it is now. He had tweeted “Stephen A and Skip are great for sports! Even though I personally don’t agree with alot they say, they have there own opinions.”

However, their current status is not anywhere close to reaching a peaceful point. With Bayless still taking shots at him, it might never be.

Skip Bayless takes another shot at LeBron James

With the new season approaching, we’re getting several statistics and fans’ opinions through polls just as part of building interest. Bayless commented on the GM polls and didn’t ignore the chance to take a jab at LeBron.

He decided to take a personal shot at the 4x NBA champion by saying “I definitely can believe LeBron got zero votes in the category of which player you’d want with the ball in hands with the game on the line.”

With more shots taken, we may never see an end to this beef.
