Parties can be the avenue for theft. In an intoxicated atmosphere, there are people who can take advantage of the situation. The likelihood of theft increases when a big-name personality is involved. The celebrity known for humongous wealth becomes a magnet for thievery in many instances. This extends to NBA players. Amidst these developments, the after-taste of the party can be sour.

Irving spent four turbulent seasons with the Brooklyn Nets. His teams didn’t make any major impact despite having Kevin Durant and, later, James Harden. He was mostly injured or embroiled in off-court issues. However, during his time, he saw some great young players develop.

Jarrett Allen of the Cleveland Cavaliers is one such example who became a dependable big man in the league. Now, his current teammate Caris LeVert was also one of those players who made his name with the Nets.

After averaging 18+ and over 5 assists a game during the latter parts of his Nets career, he was able to nab big contracts. His reputation allowed him to sign a 2-year $32 million contract with the Cleveland Cavaliers just last month. The major payday meant both hefty purchases and a lot of celebration.

One of these celebrations went wrong when LeVert had his $93,000 Peugeot watch stolen at a house party. To alleviate his anguish, the former Nets Guard then proceeded to take the assistance of cops to find the culprit and recover his watch. As per TMZ Sports,

“According to cops, someone was seen in LeVert’s bedroom during the festivities … and when the hooper went to check out the situation, he noticed his watch case was open and his $93,000 Peugeot was missing.

The shock of an empty watch case is trauma-inducing for Caris. As for fans, this meant adhering to tough lessons.

Fans are distraught

Naturally, even if LeVert is a millionaire, many fans sympathize with him, and even their faith in trust is shaken.

One of the fans appeared embittered:

A fan may never throw a house party after learning this incident:

A fan also revealed his disapproval of the whole situation

For one fan, this is not a matter of much concern because of the Guard’s wealth:
