In fact, so much so that Harden may end up sacrificing his career in the NBA with the way he has been dealing with the whole situation. And despite the support Harden has received from other NBA stars, his wish to play overseas may just come true after all.

While James Harden has received unexpected support from a few NBA players, a Boston Celtics legend seems to be siding with Daryl Morey. So, what did this former NBA champion have to say about the whole situation?

Philadelphia 76ers star guard James Harden made it clear that he wanted to be traded from the team. When the team managed to fail his requirements, Harden took it upon himself to blast and shame the 76ers president.

He went on a rant, calling Daryl Morey a liar and also made it abundantly clear that he wanted no part of the organization which Morey was a member of. Now, Harden did receive some support from fellow NBA players.

But Boston Celtics legend Paul Pierce seemingly sided with Morey on the whole fiasco. Pierce took to X (previously known as Twitter) to voice his feelings about the whole altercation that has been happening.

Since his stint with the Houston Rockets, James Harden has not been the same player fans had gotten used to seeing. However, his paychecks year in and year out have been almost the same as in his MVP season.
