Celtics vs Magic: Expected Line-Up for the Boston Side Tonight in the In-Season Tournament

Boston Celtics are battling it all with sheer supremacy in the 2023-24 NBA season. The star-studded talented roster is topping the East Group C in the In-Season tournament. The Celtics are coming off a close win against the Milwaukee Bucks (119-116). They face the Orlando Magic tonight before the tournament progresses into the knockout rounds. The Boston Celtics are currently at the top, with 12 wins and 3 losses so far. Orlando Magic is on a decent start and will do everything to beat the Celtics’ offensive firepower. Magic is at 10 wins and 5 losses. 

The Celtics are at an unbeaten record of 2-0 wins in the In-Season tournament. Orlando can make things sticky for them if they grab a win tonight. 

Expected line-up for the Boston Celtics

The Celtics’ ideal formidable starting lineup features Jrue Holiday at point guard, Derrick White at shooting guard, Jaylen Brown at small forward, Jayson Tatum at power forward, and Kristaps Porzingis at center. The game can quickly get out of hand with this lineup. At the time of writing this, all were expected to be available except Brown and Holiday. Jaylen is listed as questionable due to a strain. And Jrue is listed as probable who will likely be on the court. 

Orlando Magic’s starting five would have Anthony Black at point guard, Jalen Suggs at shooting guard, Franz Wagner at small forward, Paolo Banchero at power forward, and Goga Bitadze at the center.

In theory, the Celtics are better both at offense and defense. However, the Magic has shown resilience and can pull off an upset. 

Celtics theoretically are far better than the Magic 

Although Celtics’ primary strength lies in their offensive firepower. They possess multiple players who can score at will, making them a tough team to defend. But defensively also, they are a strong team. Tatum is giving a two-way performance in all his games. To inch closer to the Larry O’Brien trophy, Brad Stevens has carved out an elite talent and a highly skilled rotation.
