After various reports claiming the departure of Miles Bridges’ to the Los Angeles Clippers, the 26-year-old forward has finally chosen to return home. Though this time he has satisfied what Charlotte Hornets wanted all this time. The Hornets have just signed the 6th overall pick, Tidjane Salaun, from the NBA Draft this year. Also, last year, they signed a rookie contract with 2nd overall pick Brandon Miller. Both of these rookie contracts extend over four years. So, giving Miles something close to four years would have created trouble for extension opportunities.

Fortunately, Klutch Sports CEO and Miles Bridges secured a win-win deal for both sides. As per ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, Bridges has signed a three-year deal worth $75 million. However, it has left the Los Angeles Clippers in a miserable state since they lost their star player, Paul George, this offseason to the Sixers. They were the favorite candidates to land Bridges. However, it seems that Rich Paul had no intention of alluring anyone, as he has no clients on the present LA Clippers roster.
