After the three-team deal trade, which saw Damian Lillard going to the Bucks, Jimmy Butler posted a series of social media stories accusing the Bucks of tampering with the trade. He was certainly not happy, especially because the Miami Heat was considered for long as the favorite destination for Lillard. The chances of the Bucks for the elusive championship have definitely multiplied ever since the PG factor. Just yesterday, the Bucks have also acquired the services of Cameron Payne as a backup point guard. However, it seems that the Bucks were indeed the best fit for Lillard, at least according to his ex-teammate.?

According to C. J. McCollum, who played alongside Lillard for many seasons, the Bucks are the best fit for Dame because of Giannis Antetokounmpo.?

CJ had some interesting insights to share about this trade. He believes that the move to the Bucks could be a “better fit for Lillard than the Miami Heat. He?s(Dame) always talked about the importance of wanting to win a championship. Miami would have been great for him, and that?s where he wanted to go. But you could argue that this is a better situation in terms of winning a championship than Miami, outside of the taxes and the weather.”
