Los Angeles Clippers are facing a growing injury concern with their star forward Paul George, as they prepare to take on the Milwaukee Bucks. George has been battling a left knee meniscus irritation throughout the season, and the issue flared up again recently, causing him to miss the last two games.

In a recent interview, George addressed his absence, stating, “It was tough taking time off, but jumping right back in after a couple of days off for rest kind of flared things up. I was already dealing with knee soreness and stiffness going into the break, so it was a tough balance of getting rest and letting my body calm down while also ramping it back up for workouts.”

He added, “I had a bit of a setback after the Oklahoma game when I got stepped on, and although I played through it for the Memphis game, I knew I needed to rest after that. It feels better now, and hopefully, I’ll be back soon. It wasn’t anything serious, just knee soreness.

George’s knee issue has become a source of concern for the Clippers. He has already missed several games this season because of various injuries. Adding to the Clippers’ injured list is confirmed absence of Russell Westbrook for the game against Bucks. Westbrook will miss the game against Bucks because of left-hand fracture suffered during Friday’s matchup with Wizard.
