Will Harden make his debut?

The Philadelphia 76ers finally granted Harden his wish to be traded to the Clippers on October 31st. The acquisition of Harden has made the Clippers a favorite to win the NBA title. James Harden’s arrival addresses the Clippers’ need for playmaking, which has been a notable deficiency since acquiring Kawhi Leonard and Paul George.

But in order to trade for Harden, the Clippers lost key rotation players like Nic Batum and Marcus Morris. The fans will get the first glimpse of the new-look Clippers later tonight, as they face the Knicks at MSG. The Knicks, on the contrary, have had a lackluster start to the season, partly influenced by the absence of RJ Barrett. Barrett has missed two games for New York due to left knee soreness. The Knicks have lost both the games in which Barrett was absent. However, RJ Barrett could make a return against the Clippers, as he practiced with the team on Sunday. Coach Thibodeau said, “He went through all of practice today. We’ll see how he feels. I would assume if he’s good (he will play).”
