Anthony Davis undergoes excruciating pain amid the intense battle. LeBron James-less LA Lakers faced the Milwaukee Bucks in a crucial game to climb up the West ladder. During the second half, Davis sustained a massive blow on his left shoulder from Giannis Antetokounmpo. The 6 ’11 inch tall baller shoved his elbow on AD’s left shoulder during his attempt at a lay-up. The Lakers’ center immediately fell on the floor and looked to be in immense pain.

Nevertheless, it didn’t seem to affect the proceedings of the game, as the Lakers held their nerve till the last second and pulled off a one-point win with clutch brilliance. Despite the noise, Anthony Davis did put up a great show in the absence of James, dropping 22 points with 13 rebounds and 5 assists. Even though AD stepped up, it was D’Angelo Russell, who anchored the game with 44 points and 9 assists.

The reporters followed the star to the locker room and enquired AD about the left shoulder. Notably, Davis’ shoulder was wrapped with ice pack and he said that he couldn’t move his shoulder and would wait till tomorrow to know how he feels.

ESPN’s Dave McMenamin took to his X handle and reported that Davis will undergo treatment tomorrow and he would likely miss the Sunday clash against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Sunday.
