In such circumstances, being a spouse of one of the greatest basketball players is tricky. However, Savannah James, wife of LeBron James, has handled the pressure of being LeBron’s wife tactfully and with class.

People on the internet, though, are experts at creating controversies out of thin air. Recently, a Twitter handle spun an absurd narrative around Savannah’s behavior towards fans. But loyal fans of her instantly rubbished those claims.

Is Savannah James biased toward male fans?

An X (formerly Twitter) handle by the name of My Mixtapez posted a video of Savannah interacting and clicking pictures with faces. However, they came up with an absurd narrative that Savannah exhibits different behavior towards male fans compared to female fans. They wrote, “Fans notice that Lebron’s wife Savannah James only takes pictures with females and never with men.” 

This post created a passionate discourse around the actions of Savannah. Some agreed with the post, but the majority of X (Twitter) users sided with Savannah. Fans believe that the reason Savannah refused pictures with male fans is out of respect for her husband. The post’s attempt to generate controversy had the opposite effect, with people rallying in support of Savannah.

Controversial post generates huge support for Savannah

Some users didn’t understand the point of the post. A user by the name of ICasual_FPS wrote, “What’s the point of this tweet? Is respect so lost amongst people in today’s age that this is able to be tweeted out as news, only to gain traction because it could be viewed as controversial?”

An X user by the username of James Roan thought that Savannah refused a picture with a male fan out of respect for LeBron. He wrote, “She’s doing it right. She has respect for her husband.”

Another user defended Savannah by arguing that she refused for a picture as she did want any false rumors to take shape. He wrote, “She not giving no one opportunities to make up a rumor about her.”

While the trivial nature of the event surprised another user. Valley Love wrote, “the internet really made LOYALTY & RESPECT a topic of discussion..? We can’t be this bored in this beautiful life God gifted us.”

Another user wrote, “She a married woman I get it!”
