Steph Curry disappoints fans who came to watch him from Japan

The Warriors’ fans haven’t had the best of times this season. Their beloved team has massively underperformed up until now. With the season almost reaching its halfway mark, the Warriors languish even outside the Play-In spots. They currently occupy the 11th spot in the Western Conference standings, with 17 wins and 19 losses. Despite their sub-par showings, fans have continued to show their support. Some even traveled 5,500 miles to watch their favorite player, Stephen Curry, play against the Toronto Raptors.

However, the fans left the game disappointed, as the Warriors succumbed to yet another defeat. The Raptors defeated them by a scoreline of 118-133. On top of that, Steph endured an off-night, as he could only score 9 points in 30 minutes of playing time. Steph endured an uncharacteristically miserable shooting night, as he shot 2-14 from the field. He struggled to make a single three-pointer out of nine attempts. Due to Curry’s poor performance, a fan urged Steph to reimburse two fans who flew in from Japan. They wrote on X (Twitter), “curry better give them back their money.”

Another X user by the name Adhithya also had the same viewpoint. He also recommended that the fans should get a signed jersey from Steph. He wrote, “You need to give these guys their refund plus fund their return journey along with a signed Steph jersey.”
