LeBron James remains one of the most decorated and respected players to ever play in the NBA. Few could rival the success and impact that King James has had in the sport of basketball. Therefore, it comes as no surprise that several people have been overshadowed by LeBron’s aura. Savannah James, his wife, falls in that category. However, she is beginning to get out of her cocoon, with the launch of her new podcast.

From the outside looking in, Savannah James cuts a very shy, quiet, and introverted figure. However, in late March, Savannah showed her quirky side of personality when the ‘Queen’ announced that she would be hosting a podcast called “Everybody’s Crazy.”

Savannah will be co-hosting candid conversations with guests, and even fans, on her new podcast, while featuring Crown + Conquer founder April McDaniel. The podcast will air/stream its first episode on 30th April. However, before the first episode, Savannah James sat down with People Magazine for a candid interview. During the interview, Savannah spoke about her daughter Zhuri’s honest confession, which made her step out of LeBron’s shadow.

She said, “I feel like I’ve grown so much from playing the background, taking care of the kids, supporting my husband. Now I’m just kind of like, my kids are growing, basically out of the house. My daughter is now there with me and she’s watching me and she’s already expressed to me, ‘Mom, I want to be like you.’”

“Everybody’s Crazy” would be Savannah James’ first foray into the podcasting industry. The podcast invites fans to call on their hotline and have conversations with both the co-hosts. This is a departure from usual for Savannah, who has gained a reputation for keeping a low profile. But how did the podcast come about, and what was her co-host’s role in bringing it to life?

However, fans could be in for a surprise if the first few snippets are to be believed.

But none of this would have been possible without April McDaniel. She has been a close confidant of Savannah James for more than a decade. The two close friends met at an NBA event in Las Vegas. During an interview with People, Savannah recalled their first meeting. She said, “I was very pregnant and I remember she was like, ‘Girl, what are you doing? Come over here and sit down,’ so she was taking care of me.”
