The top-10 NBA all-time list is difficult to name. With the talent that the NBA possessed over the years, it is never easy to pick only 10 players that can be established the best ever. However, as it is based on perspective, the answer varies for every individual. Several players may make the list or get snubbed but a few can potentially never miss out in this list. Michael Jordan and LeBron James are two of those names.

LeBron James had made the strongest argument to be considered an automatic selection in this list over his career. Often in contention with Michael Jordan in the GOAT debate, The King has had himself a career for the ages. However, he missed out on the legendary Julius Erving’s top ten list lately. But now, a $23M worth NBA star put The Chosen One above His Airness on his list.

Rivers named LeBron James over Michael Jordan in his list. “LeBron, Michael, both one and two,” he said.
Rivers remarks are seen as a bold statement given Michael Jordan’s resume in the NBA. However, it can be assumed that the number of years he has watched James play against him prompted the 31-year-old to name him over Jordan.

Rivers made his choice putting James ahead of Michael Jordan. However, he also made some other bold decisions while naming his top 10 list.
Rivers made bolder claims

For his first claim, Rivers named LeBron James over Michael Jordan on his list. He then went on to name Phoenix Suns forward, Kevin Durant in his list. He snubbed the Boston Celtics legend, Larry Bird. He also did not include the The Big Dipper, Wilt Chamberlain in his list. Ironically, Dr. J did not make the cut for Rivers.
