The top-10 NBA all-time list is difficult to name. With the talent that the NBA possessed over the years, it is never easy to pick only 10 players that can be established the best ever. However, as it is based on perspective, the answer varies for every individual. Several players may make the list or get snubbed but a few can potentially never miss out in this list. Michael Jordan and LeBron James are two of those names.

LeBron James had made the strongest argument to be considered an automatic selection in this list over his career. Often in contention with Michael Jordan in the GOAT debate, The King has had himself a career for the ages. However, he missed out on the legendary Julius Erving’s top ten list lately. But now, a $23M worth NBA star put The Chosen One above His Airness on his list.

LeBron James gets high praise after a major jab

LeBron James has always had the world in awe of his abilities. The all-time scoring leader in the NBA has asserted his dominance in the league for more than 20 years now. However, Dr. J seemed unimpressed.

The legendary Philadelphia 76ers forward recently named his top-10 NBA all-time list. Several players during Erving’s era of basketball and the ones prior featured in his list. However, The Akron Hammer did not make the cut.

After James caught a stray from Julius Erving, he had a major praise coming his way from the $23M worth NBA guard, Austin Rivers.

Rivers named LeBron James over Michael Jordan in his list. “LeBron, Michael, both one and two,” he said.

Rivers remarks are seen as a bold statement given Michael Jordan’s resume in the NBA. However, it can be assumed that the number of years he has watched James play against him prompted the 31-year-old to name him over Jordan.

Rivers made his choice putting James ahead of Michael Jordan. However, he also made some other bold decisions while naming his top 10 list.

Rivers made bolder claims

Austin Rivers who last played for the Minnesota Timberwolves last season has been vocal about his opinions for years. The guard has made several bold claims about the NBA during his career. His top 10 all-time list was nothing different.

For his first claim, Rivers named LeBron James over Michael Jordan on his list. He then went on to name Phoenix Suns forward, Kevin Durant in his list. He snubbed the Boston Celtics legend, Larry Bird. He also did not include the The Big Dipper, Wilt Chamberlain in his list. Ironically, Dr. J did not make the cut for Rivers.
