Over the last few days, the Dubnation had their hype meter, swinging high to low because of Dwight Howard. The 6′ 10 baller, who was out of the league for a season, trained with the Golden State Warriors. While fans expected a tall center to don the Dubs’ jersey, Stephen Curry’s Warriors dropped the plan and rejected the former NBA Champion. Meanwhile, Howard hinted at his reunion Philadelphia 76ers with his recent social media upload.

After failing to attract an NBA contract during his free agency in 2022, Howard signed up with Taiyuan Leopards from a Taiwanese league. Moreover, during the NBA playoff, 8x All-Star went viral on social media as he mocked several stars. He trolled stars like James Harden and Kevin Durant to join him, considering their team’s failure in playoffs. Months after that, ahead of the 2023-24 season opener, he has been in contention to join the league again.

It’s notable that the success mantra ‘Trust the Process’ is often associated with the Sixers franchise in popular media and social media. These aren’t casual words thrown at the team, but a definitive history, reported Bleacher Report. It came into existence during the Philly team’s rebuilding process in 2013, which was entrusted on then-new General Manager, Sam Hinkie. At the time, the Sixers only had Jrue Holiday as their star player. However, in the following years, Hinkie frequently mentioned the words ‘Trust’, ‘Process’ in his speeches and tweets and built a strong side. Eventually it became the success mantra for the side.
