De’Aaron Fox admits the team’s fault after the frustrating loss against the Chicago Bulls. The Sacramento Kings started off the Monday night action with a flurry, dropping 36 points in the first quarter. After a dip in the second, the Kings again came back on top in the third quarter, taking a 22-point lead. While it looked like the Kings would take home a comfortable win, it ended up in a disaster.

Speaking to the reporters after the game, Fox admitted the team’s lack of consistency within the game and also throughout the season. After starting off the game with a 14-point lead in the first quarter, the team could drop only 20 in the next quarter and repeated the same pattern in the second half. Fox said, “Yes, definitely been a rollecoster for us this year. We always talk about being consistent…We have to be consistent throughout the game and throughout the entire season.”

On the other hand, the Bulls have been brilliant when it comes down to the clutch. They currently lead the league with maximum clutch minutes (159), playing with a less 5-point margin in the final 5 minutes. Speaking of the feat, DeMar DeRozan said, “We like a Dateline episode or something.”

Moreover, the Bulls have played the most number of overtime games this season (9 games). In their last game against the Cleveland Cavaliers, they produced a similar effort to take home the 132-123 win in the overtime.

At the same time, this isn’t the first time where the Kings have blown up a 22-point lead in the fourth quarter. They were dismantled by Kevin Durant & Co. earlier in this season.
