Ohm debunks the James Harden narrative

Steve Ballmer, the Clippers owner, made a bold move to rope in James Harden despite the start of the new season. The deal became a huge talking point in the league because of his team-up with Russell Westbrook, Paul George, and Kawhi Leonard. Along with it, fans raised the important question, ‘Who will handle the ball?’. Importantly, they highlighted the failure of the Nets’ big three.

In response to these opinions, floating over the NBA world, Ohm Youngmisuk debunked it on the recent podcast episode of The Lowe Post. Youngmisuk began his opinion, clearing the air on the Nets’ confusion.

He said, “The Brooklyn thing was out of his control because I remember being there with him.” He further elaborated on how Kyrie Irving‘s resistance to getting the vaccine affected him. Eventually, this led him to quit the franchise.

Following that, he backed the Clippers’ choice in building the ‘Big-4’ with a big breakthrough. Ohm added, “They went back and did watch the film…  We watched it of how he fit in with Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving… the Clippers saw was a guy who was a willing passer who kind of took a step back to those guys.”

He further went on to talk about Harden’s record in leading the assists for three seasons in a row and asserted his role as an orchestrator.

Minutes into the Monday night game between the New York Knicks and Clippers, Bayless made his call. He said, Harden is the new orchestrator – a far more gifted passer than Russ.”
