LeBron James’ teenage trouble

Before LeBron James even entered the NBA, he was touted as the greatest draft prospect in NBA history. His potential and skills were hailed as a generational find. In fact, James’ potential was so significant that he became the first ever player to have his high school game nationally televised.

When a teenager grabs the attention of the entire nation in such a way, he was bound to enjoy some luxury. James however made an honest mistake as a teenager to flaunt the wealth he had amassed at such a young age.

During his senior year in high school, the then 18 year old was seen driving around his hometown, Akron, in a hummer SUV. This move proved to be costly for the 19 time All Star.

Due to his actions, James suffered a two match suspension from the Fighting Irish. He was punished for his action of accepting improper benefits as an amateur athlete. James however came back strongly after his suspension to lead the Fighting Irish to their third state title in his four seasons with the side.
