The Golden State Warriors didn’t have the best of seasons in 2023. Despite winning the NBA title just one year prior, the Stephen Curry-led side crashed out of the 2023 playoffs against LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers. Following their heartbreaking loss, Jordan Poole and Draymond Green faced most of the flak because of their underwhelming performances. Although Green has been the media scapegoat for quite some time, the four-time NBA champion recently made an honest confession.

Green conducted the live edition of his popular podcast, ‘The Draymond Green Show’, with Atlanta Hawks star Trae Young. During a segment on the show, Green touched upon living like a ‘villain’.

Similar to Young, Green has faced hostility from multiple NBA fanbases. He talked about being the poster boy of the ‘villian’ agenda forwarded by the media and NBA fans.

Green said, “I’ll be the first to say it, being a villian, it sucks, its no fun. When its up against you, you either fall or stand up against it.”
