According to Forbes, all 30 teams in the NBA combined have generated almost $10 billion dollars in revenue in the 2021-22 season. Post pandemic, the league has achieved 57% growth in revenues.

But in a recent interview, Paul opened up about affordability and players flexing their money at the Invest Fest. He said, “No athlete can afford to fly private all the time. Yet we see so many athletes on the Instagram fly private. I fly Delta, I cannot afford to fly private and that’s okay with me.” He added further, “I am just trying to get where I am trying to go to get the money. I am not trying to spend the money and the times I do fly private, you will never see on Instagram because it is not for show”.
