After Victor Wembanyama delivered his career high in the previous game, the San Antonio Spurs were unable to replicate their success against the Toronto Raptors. Entering the game with high spirits, the Spurs managed to establish a commanding 22-point lead late in the second quarter. Furthermore, they entered the fourth with a 15-point lead. However, even with Wembanyama’s 20 points, 9 rebounds, and 5 blocks, the Spurs couldn’t secure the victory; ultimately succumbing to the Eastern team, 123-116.

Keldon Johnson and Zach Collins emerged as the standout performers for the Spurs; contributing 26 and 21 points, respectively. On the opposing side, the Raptors received a collective effort from Scottie Barnes, Dennis Schroder, and OG Anunoby, combining for 78 points. Despite the victory, one of the Raptors’ leaders expressed astonishment at Victor Wembanyama’s extraordinary natural talents.

Although the Raptors had been trailing throughout the entire game, they mounted a late comeback; narrowing the gap to just two points with 1:45 remaining on the clock. However, it was Scottie Barnes who seized control of the game, delivering a thunderous dunk, and sinking a crucial three-pointer; right before Anunoby leveled the game with a putback lay. Furthermore, a missed attempt to seal the victory initiated the OT.

Toronto seemed like they were in their rhythm. On the other hand, the Spurs were struggling to regain their momentum; mustering only four points in overtime.
