During the Sunday night game, LeBron James stepped onto the court on the exact date of his NBA debut, October 29, 2003. He said, “It’s pretty cool… I started my career here in Sac… Lot of memories. It’s pretty special, it’s pretty special. I m still doing it… it’s been a long journey,” reflecting on his debut. Moreover, he also words of praise for  De’Aaron Fox for his performance. He added, “D’Fox is getting better and better.”

He further hailed the Kings’ head coach Mike Brown on his growth. He said, “He got the reigning Coach of the Year. His growth continues to grow. He made his mark last year.” He further spoke about his career turnaround from being an assistant coach to head coach of a franchise.

Eventually, he registered 132-127 victory. Notably, Malik Monk played the second fiddle with 22 points.
