Tyrese Haliburton and his Indiana Pacers aren’t exactly on fire this season. Last year, they were NBA Cup finalists. This time, though, they bowed out in group play—just like the Lakers. Plenty of work to do, and Tyrese knows it. But hey, that’s locker room talk. Right now, the Haliburton household is buzzing with celebrations. And Jade Jones? She’s turning up the festive vibes!

The Olympic gold medalist’s pet Goldendoodle, Ames turned 4. Haliburton adopted the dog during his debut NBA Season in 2020-21. Since then Ames has been the Pacers’ standout guard’s best friend. Ames became a social media sensation overnight, racking over 2.8K followers on Instagram.

Tyrese Haliburton and his girlfriend Jade Jones, look after the pup together. Therefore, on Ames’ special dog mom, Jade just couldn’t believe how her ‘son’ was already 4 years old. So, she put up an adorable question on her IG Story: “How are you 4 already? 🥹” The couple wearing grey pullovers and blue and pink birthday caps had Ames posing for them. The ‘goodest‘ boy, wearing a shimmery birthday cap with “4” written in gold and a “birthday boy” bib looked endearing.

Thus, just for a day, Tyrese Haliburton kept aside his performance woes. Ames’ birthday gave him a moment’s respite amidst the downfall of the Indiana Pacers. But, there is a great concern that the 24-year-old forward needs to look into before heading into the next game against the Memphis Grizzlies on Sunday.

Tyrese Haliburton’s point-scoring struggles on the road

The 2x NBA All-Star Tyrese Haliburton isn’t in his element. Although he is a treat to watch on the floor, something feels off about his game. If looked closely, his last 10 games on the road are… concerning. StatMuse compiled Captain Clutch’s records since October and the results aren’t pleasing. Tyrese Haliburton scored no points against the Knicks on Oct 25. Meanwhile, he scored 6, 9, and 4 points against the Charlotte Hornets, Orlando Magic, and Houston Rockets respectively.

Tyrese Haliburton has averaged 12.3 points, 8.3 assists, and 3.4 rebounds in 10 games on the road this season. Meanwhile, in the 2024/25 NBA Season, the Indiana Pacers superstar is averaging 17.5 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 8.7 assists. Moreover, an impressive 40.9 field goal % is the silver lining in his woes.

Tyrese Haliburton’s road struggles are hard to ignore, but there’s still hope. Despite the dip in scoring, his overall game remains solid, and the Pacers know they’ve got a star. After all, it’s not all about the numbers—sometimes it’s about the little wins, like Ames’ birthday bash! Let’s see if the Pacers bounce back against the Grizzlies!
