Even when facing the threat of LeBron and Anthony Davis, Thomas said, “No one was really scared of us getting beat”.

Well, the Nuggets proved the same with their performance in the finals. After handing the Lakers an embarrassing defeat, Nikola Jokic’s team went on to lift the Championship. So Bryant’s words hold a lot of truth in those.

He was not the first one to talk about the fearless mindset of the Nuggets. The veteran guard Bruce Brown who was part of the Championship winning setup, said something similar the last month. “It never felt like we were gonna lose any game,” he claimed in Run Your Race podcast, as reported by Bleacher Report.

With Jokic always being respectful of LeBron and vice versa, the clash of their respective teams is going to be one to look out for this season.
