A businessperson and designer, Savannah James recently decided to take up the podcast as it’s an opportunity to share a more personal side of herself with the public. She said, “This is kind of my first venture of people seeing a more personal side of me and I think that from the outside looking in it’s giving like, ‘Oh, Savannah wants to talk, that’s crazy.’ But for me, it’s like, ‘so did y’all think I sat in the house and didn’t talk?’ It’s crazy.” As someone who has usually kept private about their personal life, she expressed that the experience was both scary and freeing for her.

As an NBA star’s wife, she recognizes that she has often had to stay in the background of her husband’s career so far but with the beginning of ‘new ventures’ and ‘new phases’, Savannah is excited. Her friend and co-host McDaniel teased that the show will include “all types of calls” that will invite their listeners to share their “crazy and relatable” stories.

The two have more projects coming up in the summer; “We’re working on some other things that we are really excited to talk about that are inspired by our friendship, and how women can truly and genuinely support each other and not feel like there’s these categories or these tiers or this clique-iness that exist,” says McDaniel.

This is the first time Savannah has willingly stepped into the limelight. In the past, she has spoken about how she finds fame “kind of weird” stating that she has always just been in the background. In an interview with Cleveland Magazine, she talked about how she gets “a little bit clammy” whenever she has to make a public appearance because it’s out of her comfort zone. She is now about to share her personal life with fans and if lucky, listeners can expect to hear some anecdotes and stories about King James as well.
