The Boston Celtics were up against the Memphis Grizzlies tonight at the FedExForum arena, and the scoreboard did make the fans anxious about who would win. The Celtics sustained their five-game winning streak, and with the sixth win, the roster maintains the No. 1 standing in the Eastern Conference.

Hitting a 180 in the final seconds, the wild sequence was worth watching for tonight. Registering a win, 102-100, the Boston Celtics’ head coach, Joe Mazzulla, doesn’t seem satisfied with the marginal win. Is the head coach unsatisfied because of the chaos in the fourth quarter?

Joe Mazzulla put his views on the table in a post-game interview tonight. He said, “I mean listen like, we got lucky to win that game.” Pondering over the manner the franchise played tonight, Joe Mazzulla commented, “Sometimes you learn from the losses, and sometimes you are just pissed that you didn’t deserve to win.” Crediting the Memphis Grizzlies for how they played, the coach wasn’t shy to accept that the opponents outplayed them many times tonight.

The Cs trailed behind in the first quarter by a margin, although they picked up the defense in the initial minutes of the second quarter. Through all four quarters, the Grizzlies and the Cs were going full-throttle tonight. However, the power forward of the Celtics kept his calm, scoring 26 points, 8 rebounds, and 1 assist in his 34 minutes on the court.

It was indeed not a good performance from the Celtics, with a star-laden and healthy team. On the other hand, the Grizzlies were running short on players; with eight players sitting this game out, the team had their backs to the wall.

Jalen Brown and Jayson Tatum hit 12 and 20 points, respectively. While Jrue Holiday could manage only a meager score of 7 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 assists, Derreck White stood at just 10 points, 3 rebounds, and 4 assists. Coming off the bench, Sam Hauser secured 15 points and 4 rebounds. The Celtics even began the game 4-for-15 from the deep, and apparently, all of these were coming from Hauser.

Although the Grizzlies tried their best to block the outside shooting of the Celtics to keep the game close, the C’s just managed to escape in the final seconds.
