The newest member of the Minnesota Timberwolves, Julius Randle has an abundance of love at his home. Over the last few months, the big man hasn’t had a great time on the court. After suffering a shoulder dislocation, the 6 ‘8 forward’s previous season was restricted to 46 games. And to make things worse, the NY Knicks traded him to the Timberwolves before he recovered it. However, this is not what we will look into now, let’s look at his people, who will never leave him, his family.
Who is Julius Randle’s wife, Kendra Randle? What does she do?
Julius Randle is married to Kandra Randle. She’s a designer, entrepreneur, and mom who’s been building something of her own. In October 2020, she launched KALORE, a fashion line that reflects her bold, confident spirit. She’s the founder, CEO, and the face of the brand, modeling many of the pieces herself.

Fashion was never just a hobby. She studied fashion design and merchandising at the University of Kentucky, laying the groundwork early. She credits her entrepreneurial spirit to her grandparents and has always dreamed of owning her own brand. In interviews, she’s made it clear, KALORE is about more than just clothes. It’s about making women feel sexy, strong, and empowered. “I’ve intricately crafted each piece with intention,” she told Natfluence. Her team is of all-females and her goal is to deliver stylish, high-quality fashion while lifting others up.
Julius is involved too. Not behind the scenes, but in small ways that matter. Kendra often asks for his input, colors, fabrics, little details. “He actually loves fashion,” she told Page Six. Their bond shows up in their shared values, too.

Both raised by single moms, Kendra and Julius make a point to give back. Each holiday season, they adopt single-parent families, giving gifts, necessities, and now, KALORE pieces too. That kind of giving started in college when Kendra helped organize fashion shows for women in need. It’s never just been about fashion, it’s always had heart.
Still, not everyone’s been kind. After a playoff win, Julius kissed Kendra on the court. Some critics, like Kenyon Martin, called it out. Kendra didn’t hold back. “Slow news day I guess,” she tweeted. “We never saw our dads respect our mothers. I’m grateful my kids do.”

Have an interesting take?
Most recently, the couple attended the 2024 WNBA Finals. Julius had been traded to Minnesota, but he and Kendra showed up in full support of the Lynx, with their son Kyden grinning on the jumbotron. Okay, so now that’s a lot on her, so let’s look at their relationship.
How did Julius Randle and Kendra Randle meet? When did they get married?
Julius Randle met Kendra at her 20th birthday party back in 2013. They were both students at the University of Kentucky, introduced by mutual friends that night. He didn’t do anything flashy. He just wished her a happy birthday and thanked her for the invite. That simple gesture stood out to Kendra. “Unusual for the average college guy,” she later said.
They didn’t talk much at the party. But something clicked. There was a quiet interest, the kind that lingers even after the night ends. A few conversations later, they started dating. Kendra had never dated a basketball player before, but Julius wasn’t the typical athlete. “He was genuine and sweet,” she said. “I knew it would be okay.”
Fast forward to June 2016, Julius planned a surprise trip to Santorini, Greece. She was thrilled just to be there. Greece had always been her dream destination. So when the hooper proposed during the trip, she was totally caught off guard. “I was so sure he didn’t have a ring,” she said. He had kept it quiet, pulled it off perfectly.
She shared the news on Instagram on June 20, 2016, posting a video with her ring. Her caption was all heart. “You are the best thing that’s ever happened to me,” she wrote.
The college sweethearts got married in 2017. They chose The Resort at Pelican Hill in Newport Beach, which is romantic, oceanside, and a little removed from the city. “Very us,” Kendra said. It was elegant but personal, filled with family and friends. Several of Julius’ Lakers teammates came to celebrate.
And you what, he had a very special guest at their wedding. Their seven-month-old son Kyden was pulled down the aisle in a little wagon. That moment hit Julius hard. “It gave me a sense of completion,” he said. Together, the three lit a unity candle at the altar. For their honeymoon, they swapped Italy for Hawaii, because they didn’t want to leave Kyden behind. Family came first. Always has. But fast forward to now, this beautiful couple has a growing family.
How many kids do Julius Randle and Kendra Randle have?
Julius and Kendra Randle are proud parents to two sons, Kyden and Jaycey, and a daughter named Romi Joelle. Their journey into parenthood began in 2016, when Kendra announced her first pregnancy with a sweet Instagram post. She shared a baby-sized Lakers jersey, Julius’ team at the time, with “Randle” and the number 30 across the back.

Kyden Jay Randle was born on December 23, 2016, just months after Julius proposed in Greece. Since then, he’s become a courtside regular and a little style icon in his own right. Kyden often joins his mom at Julius’ games, rocking outfits that rival the pros. His sharp style has even led to modeling gigs for the streetwear brand Kith. At just six years old, he’s already making waves in fashion like his mom.
In June 2021, the Randles shared that their family was growing again. Kendra posted maternity photos with the caption, “This year has been full of blessings, but this is by far our biggest 🤎 #RandlePartyOf4 🤎.” A few months later, on October 16, 2021, baby Jaycey arrived.

Kendra kept the jersey tradition alive. She shared a photo of Jaycey lying on a New York Knicks jersey, marking his arrival just like his big brother. In April 2022, the family made their first official appearance at Madison Square Garden as a crew of four. They posed on the court in coordinated neutral outfits—a full-circle moment for the basketball-loving, fashion-forward family.
And finally, their daughter Romi joined the boys on 14th April 2025. Now, it looks like a full family fun. She announced the birth of her baby girl first with an Easter post and then shared a video of her birth. From courtside cuddles to matching game-day fits, the Randle boys are already growing up in a world full of love, style, and support. And through it all, Julius and Kendra make sure their kids stay close, whether it’s on the hardwood, at home, or anywhere life takes them.
