Aaron Nesmith has been one of the key guys for the Indiana Pacers, and he’s soon due for a hefty payday. Right now, the former Vanderbilt standout is on a three-year, $33 million deal with the NBA finalists, a deal that is set to run until the 2026-27 season. This is a number that is set to rise, according to Bleacher Report’s Andy Bailey, given that the 25-year-old is now eligible for an extension. He thinks that the franchise, who consider Nesmith as a core member of its roster, will offer him a three-year deal worth around $70 million.

This is a steep rise from his current deal, which sees him make around $11 million per season. Bailey thinks, “Aaron Nesmith is far from a star, but during his time with the Indiana Pacers, he’s earned a solid payday. Over those three seasons, Nesmith has averaged 11.3 points and 1.8 threes, while shooting 40.2 percent from deep,” he wrote.
