Three years ago, little Zhuri said she wanted to be like her mother. The innocent remark was life-changing for Savannah James. Sure, she is an entrepreneur, philanthropist, and beauty enthusiast, but what beyond that? Zhuri’s statement pushed Savannah to look deep within herself and come up with an answer: Let It Break—a new initiative started by the mother of three, where women come together to become the best version of themselves.

She launched the initiative earlier this year along with her friend April McDaniel, where they talk about mental, physical, and spiritual wellness. The program offers resources needed for relationship-building and even conducts workshops. And one fine day, Savannah was in the middle of a workshop, thinking about her accomplishments or the lack thereof.

Hear it from Savannah herself. LeBron James‘ wife was on the ‘Everybody’s Crazy’ podcast along with McDaniel, where she talked about her career. She stated:

I was just in one of the workshops that we had recently, and the topic of discussion was your zone of genius. And I was thinking and I was doing my worksheet and I was trying to think what my zone of genius was, and the first place my head went was like, a career accomplishment. And I’m like, I don’t really have a career accomplishment,” Savannah recalled on the Everybody’s Crazy podcast.

“What could my genius be if that’s not it? So I’m sitting there and I’m flipping the paper back and forth, go to something else and come back to the question. And then we were in discussion amongst our group and I was just kinda like… giving myself my flowers. I feel like the fact that how genuine I am is my zone of genius.”

“Because I don’t ever come to a room… I don’t operate from a negative place ever. If I’m ever leading or meeting somebody or you know anything is always from a genuine place, until you f–k me over and I’ll be like ‘Oh, cold. Done. Gone, I’m over it.’ And I think it is because I can cut off so quick because I’m like open.”

But let us not forget that in a previous episode in September, Savannah also talked about facing a situation very similar to imposter syndrome, where she felt stuck in her life. Though it is something she worked on, one can understand why it was difficult for her to think about her own accomplishments.

She also has a net worth of $100 million, as per Celebrity Net Worth; thanks to her successful businesses.

Savannah James: A success story in the James household and out of it!

In July 2023, when LeBron James won the ESPY award for the best record-breaking performance after becoming the NBA’s all-time leading scorer after surpassing Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, he thanked one woman in his life. Yes, it was Savannah. “For our family, no one has sacrificed more and more hard work to support this family more than you and I appreciate you for that, love you,” he told his wife. Clearly, she holds the family together.

And if you think LeBron James manages his business smoothly, much of the credit goes to his wife, Mrs. Savannah James, who actively oversees several of his ventures.

Moreover, she runs the interior design organization, Home Court by LeBron James, which focuses on designing children’s furniture. As a successful entrepreneur herself, Savannah doesn’t limit her skills. She also runs the I PROMISE program by the ‘LeBron James Family Foundation’ where the James pair helps nurture the young minds who are inclined to the entrepreneurship field. The program has supported more than 1,400 Akron-area students by providing them with support and mentors for success in school and beyond.

Apart from this, Savannah also invested her time and attention in other things. For instance, she ran ‘The Juice Spot’ in Miami for nearly two years, until James returned to Cleveland. However, it was her husband’s discussions with “Warren Buffet or Jerry Jones” that eventually pushed her to explore the entrepreneurial path. And the outcome?

Well, the outcome is clear: Meaningful spaces like ‘Let It Break’ which provide women opportunities to learn and grow. Then, she has also made a name for herself in the entertainment industry with her podcast.

Despite several achievements, she balances everything with ease while continuing to support her family. What do you think?
