Several hip-hop artists have influenced the lifestyles of NBA athletes, ingraining themselves into the league’s culture. On the other hand, the athletes provided the artists an elite insight into the NBA world. These ties between the two worlds have been an age old phenomenon. However, these ties run the deepest for the legendary rapper, Drake.

He recently copped a $158,253,000 worth All-Star’s unreleased sneakers on his show, further proving his connections. However, neither the 5-time Grammy Award winner nor the sneakers received any mercy from fans.
