Golden State Warriors are walking on a quicksand. They occupy the bottom spot for the Play-in and saw Draymond Green resorting back to his questionable ways on the court. In the recent game against Orlando Magic, Green extensively argued with the refs within the initial minutes of the game. After being handed a tech, Draymond spewed ill words to the official, marking his fourth ejection this season.

Undermanned and demotivated to lose their defensive anchor, the Warriors managed a 101-93 win to keep their season chances alive. Stephen Curry recorded a 17-point and 10-assist double-double while Andre Wiggins scored 23 points. As fans questioned Green’s commitment, he shared the iconic ‘night-night’ celebration with Curry in the locker room. Moreover, the forward commended his squad on X. Green wrote, “Great DUB!! Appreciate my dawgs holding it down! On to the next one! BOUNCE BACK!.”

While Green’s tweet radiates his desire to spearhead the Lakers, Stephen Curry’s distant relative, Austin Rivers, claims otherwise. On his podcast, Rivers bashes Green for a pattern of hollow apologies. Mocking Green’s tweet, Austin repulsively comments, “Enough bro. You’re not fooling anybody with that s**t. We don’t want no more apologies.” Claiming to see through Green’s antics, Rivers hilariously chimed, “It’s so comedy at this point, that when he apologizes it almost looks psychotic.”

Moreover, Rivers then criticizes Green’s response to his two suspensions this season. He encourages Draymond Green to realize that his stature comes in partnership with Klay Thompson and Stephen Curry. Even though Rivers gave Green his due credit for his decade-long leadership, he forces the forward to delve into the bigger picture; one that pits him alongside greats.

Draymond Green can redeem himself on April 4

Apart from rotational and struggles around their roster, the Houston Rockets are lurking on their season. The team is on a 11 game winning streak and just 1 game behind the Dubs. With that, the two teams have already sparked a fiery exchange, with their star players in the mix.

Green, when asked about Space City taking potentially ending their season, claimed, “I don’t give a damn about the Rockets.”
