Draymond Green had a tough night both on and off the court. The Golden State Warriors picked up their first win without Stephen Curry this season, anchored by fighting efforts from the rest of the roster. Green had a frustrating night on the court, as he was fouled out with 3 minutes left in the game. At the same time, he had a few words of exchange with a boisterous Spurs fan.

Amid the intense game, a heckler threw in Jordan Poole’s name, and also called him a crybaby. Notably, Green had a nasty beef with Poole last season. In response, Green kept his cool and called him in front for a chat. In the meantime, Kevon Looney, who was sitting near DrayMagic, can be seen having a good laugh.

Things could have gone south for the Dubs, if it all Green engaged with the heckler in a different manner. The 4x NBA Champ almost lost his career this season because of his violent actions on the court. After spending an indefinite suspension, he came back into the team and taken up the leadership role.

Nevertheless, Green kept his calm while the heckler tried to instigate him. And this isn’t the first time when Green had a heated exchange with a heckler. Back in 2016, he was booked for misdemeanor assault when he allegedly hit a fan. Apart from that, he also made the officials kick several fans out of the arena for heckling him.

Notably, the 34-year-old definitely seemed to have learned his lesson from his mistakes. From allegedly assaulting a fan to remaining calm to a heckler, Green has come a long way his latest suspension.
