In 2020, Gabrielle Union revealed how she tried to put an end to the young couple’s relationship. Although that didn’t have any effect on them, as they’re still going strong, the details of the story are surely shocking.

Gabrielle Union tried ending Stephen Curry’s relationship

The Curry’s have been long-time sweethearts. From their first meeting when they were 14-15 years old to staying together all these years, it’s surely the stuff off of story books. On the other hand, Union is a renowned actor and is better known in the NBA for being Dwyane Wade‘s better half. The 50-year-old once tried to convince Ayesha that she should leave Steph. However, the reason behind her statement was absurd, to say the least.

Recalling her own words of advice for a young Ayesha, Union said, “You guys, the likelihood of this working out is very low and you should just break up now and have sex with other people.” This prompted Wade to immediately jump in and extend his apologies. He said, “On behalf of the Wade family, that’s not who we are anymore.” However, Ayesha recalled being baffled by this narration. She said “You looked at me and said, ‘How old are you? OK?”

Further explaining her reason behind her “bad advice”, she said, “You guys are unicorns.” She said that she has known them for over a decade and has always rooted for them. Additionally, her statement on their personal life was only a product of her lack of knowledge that committed people like them actually exist and do good in society.
