The most iconic combinations of hip-hop and basketball were in London at the same time. Only right they converge. Team USA is in town for the pre-Olympics exhibition to take on the South Sudan team on Saturday. But Eminem, Snoop Dogg, and Dr. Dre were at the Gin & Juice Party on Thursday. So LeBron James made the most of it and went to the Shepherd’s Bush event. Social media caught him and quite savored The King’s Olympic downtime vibes.
It was the launch party of Snoop and Dre’s new beverage line together named after their unforgettable 2004 track, “Gin & Juice.” Eminem was at the Flipper’s Roller Boogie Palace to support his friends, too. But what no one expected was an impromptu concert from Marshall Mathers. Shaquille O’Neal, who arrived in London undetected, introduced Snoop Dogg, Dr Dre, and Eminem on stage. No DJ Diesel opening act but he and fans were left surprised as soon as “Houdini” and Eminem’s 1999 classic collab with Dre, “Forgot about Dre” started playing.
Lebron James, being a known fan of all three, took a little detour from prep to the West London roller rink. And he was seen vibing to “Forgot About Dre.” Like the time he was at Kendrick Lamar’s Los Angeles showcase, Bron’s demeanor soaking in his favorite music is an entire mood. Pretty soon, his attendance was a hot topic online.

It’s not clear if James hit them up backstage or after the party. Several snaps of Slim Shady with the Gin & Juice moguls backstage surfaced, serving hip-hop nirvana. But we were missing a little basketball greatness, aka Bron and Shaq, in those pictures.

Shaq hits the road with Team USA
Shaquille O’Neal was another part of the surprise. He was in Las Vegas for the first game of the exhibition when Team USA beat Canada. He ended the festivities with a performance at Encore Beach Club soon after. Joel Embiid was not only at the party, he joined DJ Diesel on stage.
O’Neal is on the road for his Summer of Bass tour while simultaneously cheering on Team USA. Joining Snoop and Dre was obviously on the cards. Shaq in a massive necklace, got the crowd pumped roaring, “Are you ready for Dr Dre and Snoop Dogg?” before the duo hit the stage.

LeBron probably made a quiet exit back to his team.
Team USA will take on South Sudan on July 20 en route to the Paris Olympics and for the fourth-time Olympian, there’s a lot to prove.
