Heartbreaks are a part of a relationship. Sometimes, things end on a good or bad note. And sometimes, “let’s fix this,” is everything you need. However, for the ones who part ways, a heartbreak comes as a lesson. For Taco, he learns to fall deeper in love the next time. It’s scary because he becomes more open and transparent. But for LeBron James, there is no “another one” after Savannah. And he made sure she knew it on Everybody’s Crazy.

April McDaniels added to the conversation, saying that heartbreak acts differently for different people. “A heart is a muscle,” she said. “When a muscle tears, it only comes back stronger, and your capacity for loving can be different after heartbreak.” Meanwhile, Savannah James chipped in, saying, “It’s bigger.” However, LeBron doesn’t agree, “I don’t think mine could be. I don’t think my heart’s going to get bigger after that heart. But it’s over with.”
“I already told Vannah. I said for sure, it ain’t going to happen. Doing this forever, same casket and everything. I said, I’m not—I don’t—you ain’t got to worry about nobody taking your spot ever. I’m not getting remarried,” James declared in emotional confession. “I’m not doing that shit, I’m cool. I can’t, that’s fire. I can’t invest my time, my spirit, and my heart again. And I’m talking to my daughter right now, Zhuri: just take care of a n—-, that’s all. Just take care of your big bird. Just take care of Dad.”

Well, looks like the soon-to-be 11-year-old Zhuri has the responsibility of his aging dad if Vannah moves away. Interestingly, this confession does not mention either Bronny or Bryce. Moreover, the 40-year-old remains committed to his wife, declaring he will stay with her forever. April McDaniels even teased him with a “105” joke. This means she sees both Savannah and LeBron make it through until they’re 105 years old!

Meanwhile, LeBron James also made an honest marriage confession on the Everybody’s Crazy podcast. Openly talking about trust, James Sr. also gave an insight into his mind about the type of women men would likely be dating.
LeBron James named the only person he trusted with his kids
Taco asked the Lakers star about dating and what sparks attraction in men. Is it ambitious women, home-centered partners, or someone with vibrant hobbies? Then the talk shifted deeper. Couples hit their hardest when a parent passes, and true emotional intelligence shines in those moments. It is about sensing vulnerability, offering care, and never weaponizing trust, love, or weakness.
LeBron James confessed, “I think it’s predicated on where you are in your life, as far as stages for me. Early on, I needed somebody that could raise the family. I didn’t trust anybody to be able to come into the house besides my mom if we were going to start a family and mold the kids, and raise the kids while I was out trying to do my job and grind and be the person I wanted to become.”

He continued, “I think as I got older, you start to see more and more in your partner and see the things that they want to do, and you’re more comfortable not only with yourself but with them. You see, the kids are growing, so now you are okay with the flower blossoming even more and more. I think personally, if I were not in a relationship today, I could not have a stay-at-home woman.”
Love hits differently for everyone, and LeBron is living proof. While heartbreak teaches some to dive deeper, he locks his heart with Savannah forever, handing the torch of care to Zhuri. As life evolves, he reveals how trust and timing shape attraction, from needing a partner who can raise the kids to embracing growth and freedom. Emotional intelligence matters, vulnerability counts, and some loves are simply untouchable.
