Both the Portland Trail Blazers and the Philadelphia 76ers are in quite a predicament. Both teams have star players who have gone on to request a trade from their teams to a specific destination.
And still, both teams have yet to make any moves in order to honor those trades. But former NBA champion Kendrick Perkins believes that this three-team trade would benefit each and every franchise.

According to ESPN’s Kevin Pelton, the trade would be as follows. The 76ers would get Damian Lillard, Norman Powell, Terence Mann, and Robert Covington. The Clippers would go on to receive James Harden and Tobias Harris.
Whereas the Blazers would receive Furkan Korkmaz, Tyrese Maxey, Jaden Springer, Nicolas Batum, Amir Coffey, and Marcus Morris Sr., along with the Clippers’ first-round picks from 2028 and 2030.
When asked about his views on the potential hypothetical trades, Perkins said, “I actually like the three-team trade. I think everybody wins in that deal. Everybody wins in that deal.” He also went on to add, “Can we just make the trade happen? Can Dame just go somewhere?”

Is the trade fair to Dame?
James Harden has been a problem for the Philadelphia 76ers this offseason. And with the way he has burned all bridges with the team’s front office, there isn’t any chance left that he may come back to play for Philly.
So, for the 76ers to receive another star in return would be highly valuable. However, this does not solve Damian Lillard’s problem. Months ago, Lillard had specifically asked to be traded to the Miami Heat.
