A sudden roar inside Chase Center snapped Stephen Curry to reality. His long-time Dubs mate just did that, didn’t he? Yes, for those who missed out on the action on Sunday, Draymond Green did hit the “Night Night” after a dagger dunk if that’s how you put it. While it was a point of universal amusement in the Bay Area, Steph probably didn’t wholeheartedly appreciate it. But now after more than 24 hours of the game, Curry’s mood is finally as clear as daylight.

Draymond might not have pulled off the numbers against the Timberwolves but with his one dunk, he stole the show. In the final quarter of the nail-biting clash with under 30 seconds to go, the 34-year-old delivered a powerful dunk to hammer the T’Wolves 114–106. Then came the celebration. And what did he do? He tilted his head to one side with his hands folded, showing the sign of falling asleep. Sounds familiar? You guessed it right. Dray busted out Curry’s signature “Night Night” gesture. Impressed by his Splash Bro’s move, Curry shared a post on his Instagram story featuring Dray’s celebration, letting his 58 million followers know his mood with the caption, “Mood until further notice……”

It was a much-needed victory for the franchise, not only to even the score in the back-to-back battle against Minnesota, but also due to their recent on-and-off consistency. Besides the high-fly shot, Draymond contributed a total of 6 points, grabbed 6 rebounds, and helped his teammates with 7 assists. Whereas, it was Curry’s game-high points that ultimately secured the win.

The 36-year-old did what he does best, entertaining the crowd with 5 spectacular 3-pointers, despite missing 6 of them. His 8-of-18 shooting from the field was no less electrifying, bringing his total to 30 points. But he didn’t stop there. Being the playmaker he is, the 4-time champion also racked up 8 flashy assists along with 4 rebounds.

Helping Curry add up the points were Buddy Hield with his 27 points and Jonathan Kuminga with 20 points. Despite Anthony Edwards and Co.’s hard effort, they couldn’t cut the deficit that the Warriors had built. Meanwhile, Draymond’s dunk ensured the Dubs’ victory.
