Meanwhile, the popstar recently revealed her kids’ love for the Heat franchise in an interview. Amid the burning rumors, an NBA legend raised the ante when he heaped praise on the Heat superstar.

After the Gerard Pique-Shakira heartbreak, the singer moved to Miami. Since then, the Waka Waka singer has made several appearances at sporting events. Notably, she even watched one of Lionel Messi’s recent games after he joined Inter Miami. Nevertheless, Butler seemed to be the character that kept her interested, as several suggest that the couple has been dating over the summer. It’s not Shakira who got floored by Jimmy, but also an NBA legend.

While the 2022-23 regular season belonged to superstars like LeBron James and Stephen Curry, Jimmy Butler stole the show in the postseason. He not only impressed the fans but also the Indiana Pacers legend Reggie Miller. The legend even rooted for the Heat in the Finals, despite the mighty Denver Nuggets’ presence. Fast forward to October 2023, Miller heaped praise for Butler and called him ‘Family’.

5x NBA All-Star took to his Instagram stories and shared a picture of him meeting the Heat superstar. Along with it added a heartwarming caption that read, “No secret Uncle @jimmybutler is beloved in the Miller household, how he carries himself and shows love to all the people around him.” In response to that, Butler reshared the story on his IG and wrote, “FAMILY ALWAYS,” with red hearts.

The playoff wonder Butler’s superstar character didn’t stop at Reggie Miller, it went to impress Shakira’s kids. As she revealed her kids’ favorite sports team in an interview.

In a recent interview with Billboards Magazine, Shakira opened up about her personal life and her life in Miami. During the interview, the host addressed Shakira’s new avatar as a ‘social butterfly’. In response, the singer said, “ I didn’t know it because I really was lazy about going out [before]. My favorite outfit is my PJs. But my kids are big Miami Heat fans.” She then continued that she had to visit various sporting events, because of her kids’ love for sports.
