While talking with JJ Reddick, the 2008 NBA champion with the Celtics agreed that he shares a lot with CP3. Moreover, he also congratulated the new Golden State Warriors star for his brilliant career.

“What he has done in his career, you know, it’s unmatched and I always hear that a lot. We are mutual friends with Trevor and he always says that we have a lot of similarities. Maybe that’s why we were so feisty, always competing. It’s a lot of respect to him and what he has done for his career”, said Rondo.

His statement comes years after Rondo and Paul engaged in a fight mid-game. Interestingly, LeBron James had to intervene to break up the fight.

Rondo and Paul had an infamous moment on court

James’ home debut for the Los Angeles Lakers in 2018 took an unexpected turn. The Lake Show took on the Houston Rockets and Rondo and Paul were on opposing teams.

It all started when Brandon Ingram indulged with James Harden following a controversial call. CP3 came to his teammate’s rescue and seemingly stuck a finger in Rondo’s face. One thing led to another, and a major fight between the two players ensued.
