Flight Troubles Derailed Hornets’ Efforts To Upset Warriors At Chase Center

The Warriors secure a back-to-back win at home and the Hornets blame it on the travel arrangements. After a blow-out win against the Los Angeles Lakers, the Dubs took on the 13th seeding Charlotte Hornets. While Stephen Curry led the offense last night, it was an all-round effort from the Dubs tonight. Five players dropped in double digits, led by Steph with 15 points. It was enough to secure a comfortable 97-84 win.
On the other hand, the Hornets set out on a trip to the Chase Center after a rare win against the Utah Jazz last night. However, after the win, the team had trouble reaching San Francisco. A social media handle reported that the Hornets players reached their hotel at 3 AM due to flight troubles, as per Dell Curry, father of Steph Curry.
According to Dell Curry, the Hornets had "plane trouble" last night and didn't get to their hotel until about 3 AM… welp.

The travel issue seemed to have impacted their performance on the court. The Hornets had a rough night with a shooting percentage of less than 36 while the Dubs shot at 43%. Miles Bridges led the offense with 19 points with 11 rebounds and 3 assists.
The Dubs out lasted the Hornets solely with their bench numbers. The Warriors’ bench contributed 44 points, meanwhile the Charlotte’s bench could only drop 26 points.
While Dell Curry reportedly revealed the probable reason behind the team’s lukewarm effort on the court, the Curry’s definitely had a dream night at the Chase center. Seth Curry took on his brother for the first time since he moved to Charlotte. Meanwhile, father Curry picked up the mic to call the game, making it a historical night for the family.

After tonight’s game, the Warriors finally reached the 9th spot pushing down the Lakers. Before even it reached the Dubs Nation, the Lakers climbed the ladder again after defeating the San Antonio Spurs at LA. Now, the Dubs are again back to the 10th spot. They will need another series of wins to further climb the ladder.
