Averaging 21 points and 10 assists last season, it is no doubt that the 10-time All-Star is still a valuable asset. Several teams have eyes on him. However, Harden wants to play only for the Los Angeles Clippers. The ‘Beard’ has played alongside Paul George and Russell Westbrook previously, which could be a reason for this decision.?

This news made a ruckus on the internet but now Harden is back with another cryptic update. The 33-year-old shared on his Instagram story,?“Been comfortable for so long. It’s time to get uncomfortable.”?

Why does Harden want to depart all of a sudden?

There are several answers to this question. The shooting guard might have felt the Clippers will suit him better than the Sixers. Or he is unhappy with the franchise not making any key additions to the roster. Apart from these, there stands a main reason which could be the right answer.?

Harden sacrificed nearly $15 million last summer, although he was eligible for a max deal. Now this off-season, Harden was ready to sign a massive $210 million for four years. However, as Sixers did not find this deal promising, Harden decided to call it quits on them.?
