10 months is a long break, and the 33-year-old guard is back on the hardwood. A second chance indeed to build his career from scratch after the injury-ridden past years. With the AS Monaco jersey on the 6 foot player, he definitely has all the positivity to help the red and white team win the title.

With ex-teammates supporting from the socials, the point guard seems to have an ‘overjoyed’ feeling towards his debut in the EuroLeague. Although the fans were expecting a blast, it was a very dull start.

Kemba Walker registered his first match with AS Monaco this Wednesday with 2 points and 2 rebounds. Although the team achieved its first victory against Crvena Zvezda, it wasn’t Kemba’s best performance.

Walker’s entry was rusty; however, Mike James came to the rescue and led the team to sweep the game in the last quarter. Playing against ex-teammate Shabazz Napier, Kemba is still recovering fully from the looming knee injuries. The next match is with Graffenstaden, and it’s high time the former Celtics point guard electrified the European audience at Stark Arena.

The support from former teammate Harrison Barnes is also a performance booster for the former Hornet. Barnes took to his Instagram to give a shout-out to his Charlotte Hornets teammate for his debut.

Although the difference in rules and gameplay does take a toll, the result could be different with Stephen, Harden, and Anthony Davis on the team. With Giannis Antentokoumpo falling to the shorter 3-point line and two or even three defenders in front of him, the USA faced the worst-ever defeat.

While Harrison Barnes scored 22, Kemba registered a score of 18 for the USA, but times were tough for the 33-year-old. Seeing Walker as an offensive spark and as a perfect player to break the team’s shooting slumps was a big disaster. Whatever the nationals looked like, AS Monaco might have better exposure for the player.
