“Frustrated” LeBron James Should Contemplate Warriors Trade As D’Angelo Russell Disaster Continues vs Nuggets, Says FOX Analyst

Just as memes about LeBron James‘ frustration with D’Angelo Russell make a comeback, an NBA analyst hints at the rumors turning true. The Los Angeles Lakers yet again met with their enduring fate of falling short against the Denver Nuggets, having lost all 9 of their latest matchups against the Ball Arena team. Regardless, as the Lakers figure out the holes in their playbook, fans and analysts have already put this under the microscope, revealing some repeated patterns in their losing.
One of them is D’Angelo Russell‘s form against the Nuggets. Coming from a season with 45.6% shooting from the floor and 41.5% from three, D’Lo shot a dismal 6-20 (1-9 on threes) during the Lakers’ last-minute handover on Saturday. With that, Colin Cowherd voiced a potential locker room drama unfolding within the Lakers locker room, citing, “If you go to the end of the game the last eight or nine minutes, LeBron doesn’t take a lot of shots. And I think he’s frustrated with D’Angelo Russell.” Colin suggests that if the Lakers get swept (again) by the Nuggets this year, it could possibly change the entire landscape for the franchise.

Cowherd further hints, “He’s [LeBron] sitting there thinking okay I don’t trust Darvin. D’Lo doesn’t work for me. We need another player.” With that, like any fan, Cowherd touched on LeBron James’ close bond with Draymond Green; all while addressing the Golden State Warriors‘ need for a player just like James.

According to sources, the Warriors’ owner Joe Lacob was reported to be exploring a trade regarding LeBron James, albeit with a prior consultation with Green. As fans demanded more, ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski and Ramona Shelburne claimed that even before the Warriors could thread together an offer, Lakers’ owner Jeanie Buss, GM Rob Pelinka, and LeBron James himself rejected any possibility of shifting home.

Nevertheless, James opened up about the rumored trade nearly after a week of silence. He did not appear for the initial days of the All-Star weekend, and addressed the reports heads-on on NBA on TNT before the All-Star game. Rejecting any information on the circulated news, James said, “I actually heard about it when everybody else heard about it.” Even though he hinted at the possibility of trade talks occurring under the bleachers, James backed his initial stance, “Until, I guess, if it’s real or not, then they’ll bring it to you. But it never even got to me, so I heard it when the reports dropped as well.” Be that as it may, it remains highly unlikely for King James to ply his services elsewhere.
