When you think of Kawhi Leonard, the typical attributes come to mind. Stone-faced, emotionless, and robotic. No matter how big the occasion, the Klaw has made a reputation of being unbothered. Throughout the years there have been rare moments where Leonard cracked or let out a victorious roar. However, for the most part, he is the silent killer. His emotion let it be a monster night or an errant performance remains the same, stagnant.

But there are sides we won’t see of the two-time DPOY. Some who have the luxury of watching him in the closed confines revealed Leonard is one of the funniest guys on the Los Angeles Clippers. To back their claims, the duo did their best impression to reveal how the Klaw is the ‘fun guy’.

Kawhi Leonard is the funniest Clipper?

Paul George recently invited his teammate Terence Mann on his podcast. While having vivid discussions, the host raised a question. Who among the Clippers is the funniest individual? A collection of veterans and young talent, there might be a few lively souls who stand out. However, their answer was the guy who barely shows any excitement. Both PG13 and Mann agreed it was indeed Kawhi Leonard who manages to be the most hilarious star.

But how can the robotic and simplistic character be the funniest guy? The answer is in the question. His humor was oozing during one of the Clippers’ practice sessions. There is a simple rule, if a player shoots an air ball, they have to run the length of the practice. It is a custom designed by Brian Shaw, “Nobody is about the law” he says. Well, everyone except Kawhi Leonard maybe.

To explain how the two-time champion is funny, George narrated an incident from their practice.

“Kawhi’s like ‘I’m not running’. And B Shaw like ‘Nobody is above the law’. He was like ‘It’s basketball, I’m going to airball again. You are not about to coach me or teach me that airballing is like not good. It’s part of the game”.

Albeit, that isn’t all that he does. Since he is the ‘Klaw’, Leonard pokes Shaw if a player follows up with an airball. He blames him for getting inside their head, claiming the law makes him nervous to take a shot. It’s these small things fans can’t see that prove Kawhi Leonard is indeed human. However, there is no confirmation of whether he knows he is funny while doing so.
