The Golden State Warriors have made some major changes to their team this offseason. The biggest of which is the inclusion of Chris Paul. However, what looked like a great addition to an already solid team doesn’t seem to appeal to their fans. Although there isn’t any issue within the team, the fans, however, are acting salty for what seems like no reason at all.

Paul is arguably one of the greatest point guards of the game, and with his experience, the Warriors can benefit big time. Especially after seeing Stephen Curry and Paul link up on the court one would expect the fans to show more appreciation for the same. However, ignoring all the good signs for their team, fans started to thrash Jordan Poole.

The 38-year-old has been at the top of his game for a very long time. Even now, Paul’s skills are second to none on the hardwood. Although it was shocking, his joining Curry and Co seemed like a well-thought-out plan with a lot of possibilities. When the duo got a chance to show out on court during preseason games against the LA Lakers, they did just that. The Warriors have played two preseason games against the Lakers and have won both of them. More importantly, the team has tried different combinations on the court and most of them have delivered the desired result.

However, this isn’t enough for some fans, especially those who despise Poole. The 24-year-old used to be a part of the Warriors as well until he was sent to the Washington Wizards. Additionally, Poole’s time with the Warriors was filled with controversies, especially the one where he was punched by Draymond Green during a practice session. Despite him not being with the team anymore, some fans are showing their true colors by trying to tear down an ex-athlete of their franchise.

The scary duo of Stephen Curry and Chris Paul

A clip from the last Warriors-Lakers game was posted on X. The post captioned “CP3 already gets the relocation action. Curry appreciates it” shows Paul assisting Curry in making a 3. Somehow, fans thought of bringing Poole into the equation and turned it into a bitterness fest.

CP3 fans marked their presence under the post as well. As expected, they had only negative things to say about the 24-year-old instead of appreciating their favorite player

The Paul and Poole comparisons just kept getting ugly from here and almost unanimously, everyone failed to appreciate the talent of Paul without tearing down a young athlete

It seems like people aren’t aware of the fact that one can easily give Paul his flowers for everything he has done and will do from here, without bringing another name into discussion.
