Stephen Curry on how the Draymond incident was handled
Draymond Green punched Poole during the training session. Warriors instead went for the one who leaked the video. Draymond Green stayed in the team and Poole was given a four-year contract extension. He was later traded to the Wizards for Chris Paul and other two players. Recently Stephen Curry who has been the insider to the events shared that the incident was handled with the best efforts if not the best results.

Many have voiced that Draymond should have been served timely punishment. He is no longer with the team after punching Jusuf Nurkic in the face and faced indefinite suspension as a result. Curry too was brutally honest about the same Curry said that the Warriors tried their best to handle the situation, “Unless you were in this building, you can always talk about what could’ve been punishment-wise. But unless you were in here, having these conversations daily and everything that we tried to keep in the house that then got out, it made everything a lot more complicated. We obviously will be scrutinized for whatever happens. We did the best we could with a very hard situation. Between them two, that’s whatever it’s going to be between them two.”
