“We know each other. She’s an artist, I’m an artist. But as far as anything else, it ain’t nothing going on”. When asked if anything was going on between him and GloRilla, Damian Lillard was quick to shut down the dating rumors during the Bucks‘ Media Day. It was only 14 months ago when the point guard had filed for divorce from his wife of 2 years, who he dated for an additional 10 years before they tied the knot. It’s unclear whether Dame was ready to move on with his dating life or not, but the hoopster certainly did not add any fuel to the fire. But GloRilla’s recent appearance at a pivotal NBA game is not helping to simmer down that flame!

Earlier today, the 25-year-old rapper was present for the NBA Cup Finals game between the Milwaukee Bucks and the Oklahoma City Thunder. Taking place at the T-Mobile Arena in Paradise, Nevada, an area was designated for showcasing the NBA Cup and for the media members to capture images. GloRilla visited the area and posed alongside the cup while being photographed by the paps!

Reports about her interest in the Bucks star first started circulating thanks to the rapper herself! It all began during the NBA All-Star game in February. After highlighting a picture she took with Lillard on social media, she put out a now-deleted tweet that read, “Who n–a dis is? Cause I want him #GetEmGlo”. She also added, “Whoever she is can’t whoop me so I really dgaf.”

Months later, as she sat down for an interview with Shannon Sharpe, the former NFL star wanted an update. After all, Damian Lillard’s previous ‘No Comment’ type remark may not have been enough to satisfy him and the rumor mill. However, when he asked “Did [your shot] go in?”, she replied “The half-court shot? At the end of the day, the day [is] gon’ end.”

GloRilla sent mixed signals about a potential relationship when she appeared on Angel Reese’s podcast back in October. The WNBA star touched base on the rapper’s dating life by asking her, “You like them hood? Would you mess with the athlete?”

To this, GloRilla replied, “You know I really ain’t got no specific type”. Reese then played cupid by highlighting, “I got some for you. They athletes though”. This didn’t dissuade the 25-year-old, since she said, “They athletes? Send them to me”.

Well, the assumption is that if GloRilla was dating Lillard, then she certainly wouldn’t be asking to be set up! However, her appearance at the NBA Cup Finals will only increase the conversation about the rumored couple. If a relationship were to become official, though, there’s one person who may not be too happy about it. After all, if the past is any indication, then the NBA player’s ex-wife isn’t a big fan of the rapper.

Damian Lillard’s ex-wife and GloRilla once had a viral back-and-forth

Back in April, authorities reportedly arrested GloRilla for driving under the influence. She caught the attention of authorities after she made an illegal U-Turn. WSB-TV and TMZ were quick to report the news. The former even got a hold of GloRilla’s booking photo and was able to highlight it on social media. The same caught the attention of Damian Lillard’s ex-wife, Kay’la Hanson. Highlighting the picture on her Instagram story, she wrote, “Free GloLillard (crying laughing emoji) #sisterwife (shrug emoji)”.

By highlighting the emojis, Hanson seemingly indicated that her remark was layered in sarcasm. A few days after her arrest and Kay’la Hanson’s IG post, GloRilla highlighted herself wearing a jersey in a short clip. The back carried the name GLOLILLARD, accompanied by the 0 number that is seen on the NBA star’s Bucks jersey.

Damian Lillard and GloRilla may be denying any dating rumors. However, by dishing out comments like these, they are certainly not making a valid case for themselves. As of now, we don’t know whether the two will ever give any further updates on their dating life. However, if they do come out with an official announcement, there is a chance we might see some more ‘beef battles’ come our way.
