The Chef’s basketball stint in the 2023 NBA playoff ended in a disappointing loss, but the superstar didn’t let his guard down. He picked up his golf club in the offseason and has been making history. Moreover, hours after his emphatic moment on the course, Steph reacted to LeBron James and Patrick Mahomes with a special request on live TV. 

It’s an undeniable fact that Curry is a master in shooting from the deep and also holds the record for the most three-pointers in the NBA. In addition to splashing the buckets, the 4x NBA Champion also displayed his accuracy game in the recently concluded golf tournament.

In the recently concluded Celebrity American Century Championship golf tournament, Stephen Curry set the stage on fire by lifting the trophy. Even though he won the tournament, the superstar’s hole-in-one swing garnered a lot of attention from the sporting world. Moreover, sporting superstars like LeBron James, Patrick Mahomes, and Trae Young also pitched in their reactions.

Hours after the iconic moment, Steph joined in for a quick video chat on ESPN to celebrate his victory. The hosts displayed praise tweets of sporting superstars on the big screen and asked for Curry’s response to it. He said, “it was crazy… it’s cool to know like there’s so many newcomers to the game of golf.” 

Furthermore, he added how the popularity of golf grew among the fellow ballers. He ended the conversation with a special request: “It was special… I’m hoping more people get clubs in their hands and get out there and play.”

Notably, Patrick Mahomes, who recently defeated Curry in a celebrity golf game, said, “I wish I was as cool as @StephenCurry30.”  Apart from his LeBron James, Andre Iguodala, Trae Young and many more hailed the superstar.
