After Britney Spears got slapped by Victor Wembanyama’s security, her team filed charges. But the charges were soon dropped after the police found out that Victor’s security was focused more on defending him rather than attacking singer.

After the entire incident took place, Wemby gave his statement to the press during one of his team practices. When asked about what happened last night, he said, “I saw the news. I woke up to a couple of phone calls. So, something did happen a little bit.”

“There was one person who was calling me,” Victor went on to add. “So that person is calling me, ‘Sir, sir’. And that person grabbed me from behind. So, I didn’t see what happened as I was walking straight as they told me, don’t stop.”

“But that person grabbed me from behind, not on my shoulder. She grabbed me from behind and I just know that the security pushed her away. I don’t know with how much force though but the security pushed her away.”

The incident reported by Britney Spears gave one side of the story where the singer tapped a 7’5 NBA player on the shoulder to get a picture. But Wemby’s version states otherwise. 

The initial report even stated that the member from Victor Wembanyama’s security came back to apologize to the singer. Yet her security went on to file charges.
