Bridges feels dating is tricky as an NBA star

A little while ago, Mikal Bridges created a viral moment when he landed in A’ja Wilson’s comment section. In June, Wilson posted, “Leave me alone. We cool over here,” after Bridges enquired about her next game. Although fans have trolled Bridges for being rejected by Wilson, the truth of the matter is that the two share an extremely close bond. Mikal has even referred to A’ja as his “bestie” in June.

However, in a recent interview with GQ, Bridges opened up about his dating life. He said, “I think I surprise people. Women, they’re around a lot of athletes who pop their shit, this and that. I just chill.”

Bridges further that it’s tough to have a natural and genuine relationship because of the fame. He said, “I don’t know. I think all that’s tough. I want it to be natural, like randomly meet somebody. But I’m also kind of at the stage now where I’m not even looking to be with anybody. Just being on my own, single and chilling.”

Apart from his dating life, Bridges seems to be enjoying his life in the ‘Big Apple’. But, can he lead an unfancied Brooklyn Nets team to the postseason?

They currently occupy the 9th spot in the Eastern Conference, with 13 wins and 14 losses. Despite the Nets’ recent three-game losing streak, their fanbase remains optimistic about the future, viewing it with hope and positivity. After enduring consistent drama during the KD-Irving era, the Nets appear to have achieved a newfound stability. If the Nets hierarchy play their cards correctly, then they could become a formidable team in the future. However, their current prospects don’t look too promising.
